Part 3: Natalia's story

Natalia and Camden still work hard to prove their theory and bring down the "system".
When she's not researching, Natalia also works as physics teacher in the local high school.

Camden is a barman. Who bartends... in the dark...
During the day, he still contacts "dimensional travelers" (as he calls himself these days) to support his research.

Of course, those two are still together.
They don't care anymore if their relationship is a product of the "system’s” manipulation or their own choice.

They'd been living together for a few months when Natalia made an incredible discovery.

"Hey Camden, come here quickly! You won't believe this!"

"What is it, Nat?"
"Just take a look at this page!"
"Livejournal? What's that?"
"Oh please! It's a site where people can post about their lives, including pictures!"

"Take a good look at this page, Camden. Do you recognize the people in these pictures?"

"Oh Shit! That's me! And Tamara! Honey, don't think I'm with her because..."
"Of course I believe you! After all, you are not 60 years old."
"But then..."
"They are clones, Camden. I'm sure of that. Perhaps our theory has to be modified. What if you aren't the original Camden Amore? What if you are a clone made by the system and then placed in this dimension to create a disturbance in the order of things?"
"I... I don't like that idea very much, Natalia. Can you imagine what the evil master minds behind the system could do with our clones? They could take over the universe!"

So yeah, clone or not, the Camden Amore of this "dimension" and Natalia still have time to be... "together" too.
They never got married, and what they don't know, is that the system actually didn't want them to get married!
*Insert evil laughing here*
Nonetheless, the system was kind enough to appear a hot tub in their home one morning.
Trapped by their own hormones, Camden and Natalia fell in the trap and...

Soon she was pregnant.

Of course, a baby was the last thing that Camden and Natalia needed in that moment.
But soon they realized that they could raise this baby with their ideas, to make him or her the one Sim who would destroy the system.
The "Neo" of this bonked universe!

Yeah, that thought made them very happy.

Well... Natalia wasn't happy when the moment of birth arrived.

She gave birth to a baby girl.

Because naming a baby "Neo" would make the system suspect, they named her Lisa.
Lisa Amore.

The system wanted to experiment a bit more with their genes, so it influenced them to try for a baby one more time.

And nine months later...

She gave birth to twin boys.

Evan

and John Amore

And Lisa became a pretty girl.

So, where are the Amores now?

Evan and John are still kids, but they are currently being trained by their parents to destroy the system.

Lisa just turned 13, and she already thinks her parents are missing a screw.
Well... so much for their plan of having a female "Neo" on their side.

Anyway, in their own odd way, the Amores are happy.

And the system is very pleased by that.

Part 4: Andrew's Story

As you all know, Andrew Broke divorced Autumn and gave birth to a couple of twin alien boys.

He named them Calvin...

And Hobbes...

The twins were the best of friends.
And, as soon as they became children, they were even closer.

Andrew was aware that his family was very peculiar, but he wouldn't change it for anything.

Andrew was still working as an Entertainment Attorney.
He earned enough money to support his family and to pay for Sarah's private school back in Weirdsquare.

Sarah had just turned 13.
Ever since her parent's divorce, she visited her father every weekend.
Autumn never approved that. She was afraid the twins would be a bad influence for her.
Ha! And she couldn't even imagine what would happen very soon!

Calvin and Hobbes were in the same classroom as Timmy, their cousin.
They often had to help him escape from that little brunette girl who just couldn't leave him alone!
Talk about a stalker!

So in general, Andrew's life was peaceful... except at night.
He often dreamed about a plain, white room.
He was naked and resting on a strange bed.

There were bright lights everywhere.
He'd try to move, but somehow he couldn't even raise a finger.

And, just before he'd wake up, that kind, green face would pop up in front of him.
She'd whisper something and then... the dream was over.
Andrew was very confused in the mornings.

Until one night...
It was a cold Saturday night, and the family was inside just... being lazy.

Suddenly, a bright light flashed outside.

"Uh? What's going on?"

"Daddy?"

"Stay here, Sarah. I'm going to take a look outside..."

Concerned about his children's safety, Andrew approached the door.

And once he opened it, he couldn't hide his shock!

It was her, the woman of his dreams!
Or more exactly... the graslaxian of his dreams!
"Greetings, Andrew Broke. Permission to enter your habitat is needed..."
"Uh what? Oh yeah, come inside..."

Andrew immediately felt like he had made a mistake by letting her in.
This suddenly seemed too familiar to him.

"Ehhh... what can I do to help you Miss..."
"Eighty-Eight. Pollina... just Eighty-Eight. It seems that you don't remember me, which is normal, considering that we usually drug our recipients when we abduct them."

"Wait a minute! Are you telling me you are the one who pollinated me...?"

"Errr... affirmative. Surprise!"

Andrew was shocked by that revelation... but he was also worried by 88's odd behavior.
He was going to ask her more about her visit when...
"Dad? Are you going to introduce us to this lady?"

"Eh sure... Sarah, this is 88. 88 this is my daughter Sarah..."
"You are a Graslaxian like Grampa!"
"You mean 4467... I mean Cosmo Broke? Affirmative."

"So you know who took Daddy away, right?"
"Actually Sarah... she's the one who... pollinated me..."

"Oh wow... then you are my brother's mother!"
"Mother?"
- 88 was confused- "What does that mean?"

But someone, or to be more precise, a couple of "someones" had already listened to those words.
"Mommy?"- asked Calvin
"Are you really our Mom?"- added Hobbes.

She had been working as a P.T. for just a couple of Earth years, so she hadn't had the opportunity to actually see one of her "products" alive.
But one glance at the twins was enough to awaken an odd feeling inside her.

The twins stood up and ran towards their "mother", hugging her tightly.
"Mommy is here! She came to visit us! What a surprise!"- they both exclaimed.
It was in that moment when Andrew realized why this scene seemed so familiar.
And for the first time in his life, he felt true terror.

He asked Sarah and the twins to get some food for dinner while he had a "grown up talk" with 88.
And once they were alone, Andrew brought up the topic that had him so scared.
"You are here to take them away, right?"

"Excuse me?"

"Don't lie to me! This is exactly what happened when my father was a teen! No P.T. is ever interested in their "products" as you call them unless they want to take them away! But let me tell you something, Miss Graslaxian! Over my dead body you'll take my kids from me! I'm not Beau Broke, I warn you! I'm not as nice as he was and I'll do everything to keep them here!"
"Oh... I see... well Andrew Broke... I'm not here to take your kids away... Actually... I'm here because you are the only human I know..."

88 then explained Andrew her sad story. After being punished for decades, she was accepted back in the PT training program. She finally completed it 10 years before, and had been working as a PT ever since.
Then, 8 years ago, as they were flying above Earth, she listened to one human's plea to be abducted.
It was Andrew, who wanted to be part of the alien legacy started by his grandfather.
Her commander, PT 56 forbid her from ever abducting a Broke.
"4467 did well sending Summerdream to us. The last thing I want is to create more defective Graslaxians like... him..."
But 88 didn't obey him. She had never seen a human so interested in their culture... and his eyes reminded her so much of Cosmo's.
So, he abducted him while 56 and the others were busy.
For years, she was able to hide her mistake...until 35 found the abduction report in her office.
56 not only expelled her from the PT program, he also decided that she wasn't a worthy Graslaxian.
And so she ended on Earth... all alone.

Andrew felt so bad for her.
He was partly responsible for her situation.
So, he asked her to move in with him.

88 was speechless.
"What can I do to thank you, Andrew Broke?"
"Just call me Andrew. And you can give me a hug... it's a human tradition."

88 lived with Andrew and the twins for a few months.
Although it was hard for her to get used to life on Earth, with the help of Cosmo (who was shocked to see her again) and Andrew, she soon felt at home.
Andrew and 88 became best friends...

And soon enough, they fell in love with each other.
These feelings were new for 88, who now finally understood what moved Cosmo to do what he did as a teen.
She missed Bella... she'd been also her friend after Cosmo left.

Andrew surprised her one afternoon.
He asked her to marry him.

"Oh! This is very nice, Andrew but... what is this shiny little rock?"
"Well... this is what a human gives to his loved one when he wants her to be with him forever."
"So... to get married is to live together? Aren't we married yet?"
"You'll soon understand the difference, 88. I promise..."

Needless to say, but 88 accepted.

Andrew and 88 got married that same afternoon.
They wanted a small ceremony, and with all the drama that was currently taking place at Wanda's house, it was better to keep this as discrete as possible.
Once Sarah was done with 88, she could barely believe how... human she looked.
Perhaps that's what Cosmo felt when she got him ready for the Graslaxian council?

The only witnesses to this extraordinary marriage were their children.

Andrew could barely believe the turns his life had made.
He never imagined he'd marry the alien who abducted him.
He never imagined he'd give birth to his twins, the same way his mother had given birth to him.
And despite how odd it had been, he was happy with the direction his life now had.

Eighty (as she was now called since her marriage) couldn't be happier.
As a teen, Cosmo's stories seemed so weird.
And now she was being part of one of them!
Every single day was a new, incredible adventure to her.

But of course, nothing could be compared to what happened to her a few months later.

Andrew was happy to have another kid, but Eighty was a bit scared.
In Graslax, it's the males the ones who carry the unborn Graslaxians.
It was so odd to see a pregnant female Graslaxian!

Therefore, Andrew became a bit worried when Eighty gave birth.

But just as he had done with the twins, somehow Eighty managed to give birth to a healthy girl.

Sixty Broke was born in the middle of Strangetown's oddest family
But she couldn't be a luckier baby.

So, where are the Brokes now?"
Andrew opened an attorney office with his brother-in-law, Puck Summerdream.
They are currently very successful lawyers, and well respected among the citizens of Strangetown.
Andrew is promoting an update to the Alien Rights law, which was approved by Lilith Broke many years ago.

Eighty took Cosmo's place at the pharmaceutical company after his death.
She's proud of being an Earthling (well, at least an honorary one).

Sarah will finish her psychology studies very soon.
She's still sad because Rose Mary wasn't able to go to College with her...

The twins are in their last year of High School.
They can't wait to open a Greek House with their cousin Tim the following year.

And Sixty... she's still in Elementary School.
She wants to be P.T. when she grows up...
But that's a secret! Don't tell anyone!

The End

Notes:

- For those of you who are curious about how the kids will look as teens, here are a couple of pictures:

Elizabeth, Charles and Josephine.

Evan and John.

- You can download all the kids from this update over here. This link will take you to the "Download a Broke" page, with pictures of all of these kids as adults, including Rose Mary, Helena and Tim, so beware of spoilers.

- Camden Amore, is of course, part of the "Amore Legacy" by [livejournal.com profile] senzastelle. She was kind enough to let me use her Gen 6 spare for this story. Thanks a lot! :)

- Yeah, lame Matrix references in Natalia's story. I watched that movie a zillion years ago. I really hope this story made sense to you!

- You might wonder what was "the force" that got Natalia and Camden together... well, of course it was the mighty Insimenator :P. Camden sucks as a romance sim in my game, he kept rejecting poor Natalia over and over again!

- See you next time!

- BARTENDING IN THE DARK. *brain reels* Of all the places to see a FW reference...

- Awww, Lisa's so precious. Definitely one of the cutest toddlers I've seen lately. And Evan and John are utterly adorable, too!

- "Errr... affirmative. Surprise!" *cracks up* Best caption ever.

- Eighty and Andrew are so cute together, and Eighty's so gorgeous. Their kids all hit the genetic lottery for sure. And aww, Sixty. Another adorable toddler. I can't wait to see Calvin and Hobbes as adults- it looks like they're going to be incredibly attractive.

I can't wait for the next update!!

I occasionally read FW, and I still remember that wank report. I laughed so hard that I had to show it to my sisters! And when I came up with Camden's job, I couldn't help myself :D.

The twins are adorable as adults too but Lisa... something odd happened when she grew up. She's not ugly (at least not to me), just odd.

I had no idea what to put in that picture! XD

I love how you wrote Andrew and 88's reunion, and all of Andrew's kids are absurdly cute. Oh Sarah, Y U SO PRTY?

LOL @ Lisa. There's always one black sheep in every family.

Ouch, Oberon's jaw and nose do not look good on Tamara's kids :(.

I think that of all the Gen 2 members, Andrew is the one who spawned the cutest kids. But I'm also very fond of Wanda's children ^^.

Elizabeth is actually quite pretty, and you could say that he odd jaw makes her original. Charles is also cute, despite his huge nose. The one who didn't win the genetic lotery is Josephine, but she's a sweetie.

Eee! Calvin and Hobbes are so cute!

I really like how you threw Eighty in. I wasn't expecting that, but it's a really good surprise! AND she's really pretty all made over.

The Matrix jokes were great. :D I haven't seen that movie in a long while either, but I still think it fits with sims.

Eighty is beautiful so I didn't really had to do anything "special" to her. I just got rid of most of her make-up and gave her a different hair.

I'm glad the "Matrix" jokes were at least understandable. I only watched that movie once so I barely remember what happens in it. And I never saw the final one. I was also tempted to parody "The Truman Show", though :P.

Question time!

Do you really move a copy of the sims into Veronaville/Pleasantville? Or do you just move them into subhoods or something?

Is Alvin really from Pleasantville? Or is this fun story time?

hahahahaha, the Neo!!! That was great!!

This was such a great update! You make me wanna go play my spares.... meh. The graveyard is looking pretty in my town. lol

(no subject)

Date: 2007-11-12 09:30 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] simgaroop.livejournal.com

Usually, I clone the sims with SimPe and then re-create them in Strangetown. That's how I brought Beau, Lilith, Puck and Lucy to the story.

Of course, Tamara and Demetrius are still in Strangetown. They don't really have a "house", so I only recreated a room following the Summerdream's style on an empty lot.

Actually, Alvin is from Strangetown. I make up a lot of stuff as I write, as you can see! :P

I saw your graveyard! I think it's very nice! I downloaded one from MTS2 and now I'm wishing I had created my own. The graveyard is pretty, but it won't fit all my spares and spouses when they die!

(no subject)

Date: 2007-11-13 01:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] lovelysims.livejournal.com
Ya, I was originally using the graveyard that is in the downtown area but realized that by the time I got through ten generations there wouldn't be enough room. It houses all sims born to the main legacy line and their heirs and spouses. It also houses all childrens children of nonheirs. Basically anyone who can trace themselves back to the Thinker family. XDD So obviously I'd neat a lot of space.

You should probably consider something like that as you always play with the spares and create extended families. Or you know, separate graveyards for nonheir families? I just feel too bad to sim bin them all ya know? XD

(no subject)

Date: 2007-11-13 03:06 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] simgaroop.livejournal.com

Yeah, I don't like to keep my sims in the SimBin, and actually that's what I'm doing! I still have many "characters" I brought from Pleasantview and Veronaville in the bin, like Oberon, Titania, Bottom, Alexander, his son Hermes and Lilith's son Henry. I guess sooner or later I'll have to find something to do with them!

Of course there's a reason! :D

I'm lazy and I suck at building!

The spares don't have a real house. I just move them to an empty lot and create one room for their pictures. At least Andrew and his sisters were luck to have something resembling a room... for the gen2 spares, I only took pictures of them in front of a white wall!

Thanks for reading!

I've thought about that and perhaps, once I'm done with the Brokes, I'll give it a try ^^.

It wouldn't be a complete legacy, though, just a few generations. If I start graduate school, I won't be able to play much anymore (and if I move away, I'll have to leave my PC behind too!).

So if you don't mind my asking, what are your current choices for school? I know you mentioned your top choice, but I'm guessing you have a couple more you are considering too?

Yep, I also have three other choices. I went with a counselor at the US Embassy (they are part of a program called Education USA) and she told me that for Special Ed there's not precisely a school or state that specializes on it.

Anyway, I did a bit of research and my options are:

- University of Texas in Austin: Because it's closer to my country, because there's no time difference, because it's public (and therefore not as expensive), there's also some sort of scholarship that the Goverment of Texas offers to Mexican students, the program looks good and I could actually live on campus. I've also been told that Austin is a nice place to live.

- Peabody Vaderbilt College, in Nashville TN. It's number 3 on the list of the best special ed schools and it offers a scholarship in which if you work with an autistic child in the evenings, you get free tuition. I'd be basically what I'm currently working at and I've got the experience to do so. The problem is that I wouldn't be able to live on campus, so I'd have to find someplace to live.

- Grand Valler State Universiy, Allendale MI. This school also has an interesting program and it also offers several $5000 scholarships for international students.

- Ball State U, Murcie Indiana. Also an interesting program and it's recommended by Education USA for International students.

I'm still a bit lost with all this paperwork for studying abroad. I hope things go well and I get a place in Austin :S.

Oh man... I'm sorry for the long, looong rambling.

I sometimes update at [livejournal.com profile] kangaroop, but somehow I'm more comfortable updating this journal nowadays. But sure, feel free to add it and I'll make sure to add you back ^^

I sometimes read Fandom Wank, usually when I'm extremely bored :P. The best part is that I discovered the "Booty" through it.

I don't remember very well the bartender story, but let's see: There's a community named hogwarts_elite, where you have to send a pretty long appilcation form if you want to join. The members of the community then decide which house you should be "sorted" to. On the other hand, if they consider your application doesn't meet their standards, they "squib" you, aka they reject you. It seems that one easy way to be rejected if you manipulate your form so it's pretty obvious you are trying to be sorted to a particular house.

Anyway, this is the part I don't remember well, but it seems someone applied to hogwarts_elite, and in his/her application, it was very obvious he/she wanted to be sorted to Slytherin. And in his application, he/she mentioned he was so dark/goth/bad enough, that he worked as a barman in a goth bar, who bartended... in the dark.

Never mind, this is a more accurate story:

I read this update ages ago, but popped back to see if there were any new updates.

Ended up reading all the comments, and wanted to say the following:

1) You know what I love about your legacy? You actually write a story. I can actually keep track of all your spares AND the heirs because you make the story MEMORABLE. There is a downside to this. You have ruined me for all other legacies.

2) I vote UT. I am from San Antonio, and I can attest to you probably being most at home there. Austin is awesome as a college town, I lived there a few years ago, and took my husband there last year. It is a very groovy place. And San Antonio is not very far away, and has even better food, and 3 theme parks :)

YAY for Texas, I hope I move back there someday soon.
