The Broke Legacy: Gen 1 Spares

This is Brandi Broke and her three sons: Dustin, Beau and David.
Dustin and Beau were born from her marriage to Skip Broke.
David was born after a short-lived romance with Don Lothario.

We all know what happened to Beau and his children but... what about Dustin and David, the Brokes who stayed at Pleasantview?
Let's find out!





Dustin Broke was Brandi's eldest son.
As you all know, he had a difficult childhood, marked with the tragic death of his father.
Dustin had a pretty bad reputation among Pleasantview citizens and was never able to attend College.
But in the end, his determination and inner strength helped him succeed.




Angela Pleasant (now Broke) was the eldest of the infamous Pleasant Twins.
Unlike Dustin, Angela had a peaceful childhood filled with the love of her parents (who often neglected her sister Lilith to favor her...)
The discovery of his father's affair with the maid destroyed Angela's perfect image of her family.
And as some sort of revenge, she hooked up with the worst teen she could find. The one who she was sure her family would disapprove.
And that's how she met and fell in love with Dustin.




Despite distance and her family's opposition, Dustin and Angela got married.
They moved to a small house in front of the Broke's trailer and soon enough they started their family.




Last time we saw the Pleasantview Brokes (at Beau and Lilith's wedding), Dustin and Angela were still happily married.




They already had a daughter, Sandra.




And after many years working on Pleasantview's dark side, Dustin was already the criminal master mind of the city.
He was the terror of all the wealthy families... but on the other side, he was known for opening schools and hospitals for the poor people who were often ignored by the government.

And remember the good news that Angela had on that wedding?




Yep, she was expecting her second child.
Angela and Lilith both were pregnant at the same time, and often shared their stories and experiences through the phone.




The Pleasantview's Brokes were ready for this second baby, who would be born in a much different family than their parents.




Angela gave birth a couple weeks before Lilith.




She had a healthy boy, who looked just like Dustin.
They named him Skip, like his Grandfather.




Skip Broke as a toddler.




Time went by and the children grew up.




Sandy became a beautiful young woman, looking so much like her mother.




Dustin finally had the family he dreamed of.
His children would live a much better life than him, and would even go to College!
Dustin never understood why Beau felt the need to leave Pleasantview... he had a great life just here!




Skip Broke as a teen.




Several decades later, Dustin and Angela retired from their respective jobs.




They were still madly in love, and were eager to spend their last years together.

Sandy Broke got married while she was still in College.
She's a year older than Cosmo, and currently works as a Cop.




Skip Broke inherited his father's "business".
He's the same age as Molly and Icaro.
He never got married.




Dustin and Angela died several years ago.
Dustin died first, from a heart attack.
Angela died a couple years before her sister.
They had a great life... they wouldn't change anything about them.

David Broke grew up under the protection of their older brothers.
Beau and Dustin worked hard to give him a proper education.
David went to Académie Le Tour, and studied art.
Soon he graduated with honors and worked as a photograph.




He was single for several years, and Brandi was worried he would never get married.
He just... wasn't interested in that.
But then, during a photo shoot at Las Vegas, he met her...




Meadow Thayer, an aspiring actress and model.




Things between them moved fast... so much that he asked her to marry him just a week after they first met.




They had a quick wedding that night.
No one was invited but them...
Brandi was so angry that she didn't talk to him for a year.




Despite their quick marriage, David and Meadow got along pretty well.
For almost ten years, they enjoyed each other's company.
Meadow was becoming a well known actress. And David was already a famous photographer.
Their locations were located all around the world.
They didn't have time for children.




It wasn't planned, but Meadow eventually got pregnant.
"It's OK"- said David- "We can handle one child, despite our busy schedules"




But there was a great surprise when Meadow went into labor...




And she gave birth to a set of twin girls: Colleen and Daisy.




"Well...they can always keep company to each other, right?"




And that's exactly what happened: Colleen and Daisy didn't have a normal childhood, always moving to the different locations.
They never went to a regular school, so it was hard for them to make friends.
But they always had each other.




The twins also modeled a bit.




And by the time they were teens, both of them decided they'd follow art-related careers, just like their parents.




David is now retired.
Meadow still acts now and then in some plays... but most of the time she stays at Pleasantview with her husband.




Their daughters also live in Pleasantview.




Daisy followed her mother's steps.
She's a model and still single.




Colleen is a writer.
She writes TV scripts.
She's married and has two kids.

None of them had even gone to Strangetown.
Until the day their father answered to that call.
It was their cousin, Cosmo...

And he had bad news...

Who said that Dustin and Angela made fugly children? O_o
They are even cuter than Beau's!

More surprising, who knew Meadow Thayer had such good genes? We know the Brokes have good genes, I just didn't realize it of Meadow.

Who said Angela and Dustin produce ugly children? They had adorable red haired children in my game! Sandra looks like such a Pleasant.

David is really gorgeous. Don Lothario has awesome genes. Brandi is so lovely as well. Put them together and BAM! beautiful child.

I love Meadow Thayer. Colleen and Daisy are beautiful! Would you consider uploading them? I'd especially love to have Daisy in my game.

D: I am so jealous of the children Meadow and David produced. I think the Sim I paired her up with must have had bad genetics -- their only daughter came out awkward looking.
