It's been raining non-stop in my city for the whole weekend. Of course, with such a sudden weather change, it's easy to catch a cold. And that's what happened to my family, for my parents and two sisters are currently very ill with a nasty variety of a cold.

So, I've spent the whole weekend as my family's "nurse", making soup and tea for them and keeping them warm. Good thing I had a few work reports to do to keep me busy, otherwise I'd have become insane locked up inside my house for such a long time.

Anyway, this literally "lazy" weekend also gave me plenty of time to write my update (almost done!) and to finish my cartoon posters. They came up way better than I expected, so I'm pretty happy with them. I just need to add the cartoon titles to them (I'm gonna try to reproduce their original "logos" as much as my limited Photoshop skills allow me) and then I'll upload them at the wella_creations community.

Would you like to see the raw pictures? ^^

This one was pretty easy because I already had the sims in my hard-drive. I just had to "update" their clothes and build the lot (this is supposed to be Etemon's temple) to take this picture.
(BTW, I know Kari's not supposed to be there! :P)

(I ended up making my own wings for Cosmo and Wanda. They are awful up close, but I think they work for a poster, right?)

(This poster includes my first "hair edit" ever. I modified a free Peggy mesh for Angelica's pigtails. It was luck that I actually hacked off the bangs and not the pigtails, for I had a bit of trouble figuring out the alpha.)

(This was a pain to set up. This is supposed to be Calvin's tree house. By the way, can you see the ever famous HBD -Hot Blond Downtownie- in the magazzine cover at the bottom of the pic? I laughed when I noticed it.)

(I had to cut this picture because "Hobbes" looked stupid with underwear and creepy naked. Pity, because his tail was cute!)

(I really love the modular sofas from MTS2. That's the only way I could sit those four in the same sofa. I used a OMSP for Maggie).

(One serious limitation of building cartoon characters with the Sims is that you can't modify their height or their head shape, Arnold's trademark in the case of this poster. I "recolored" the clothes of these three characters :P).

Finally, my favorite poster. It was a challenge because I don't know much about Avatar and there was hardly stuff available (just some hairs for characters I didn't know at all and that amazing Zuko). I ended up looking at the Avatar "wiki" because I also couldn't find a poster use as a guide! :P

I was pretty lucky with Aang, because there was NOTHING available for him. I tried to edit a kimono mesh for his clothing and it came out horrible. And I also made a "blue arrow" facemask. But then, just when I was in CAS creating the sims, I decided to use the Zuko's skin for Aang because I figured they'd have similar skin-color. Hee! I was pretty surprised when I noticed that the skin shows the blue arrows on children!

So, despite the lame outfit he ended up wearing, he came out pretty cute! :P

(Excuse the awful quality of the pictures, but I converted them to small JPGs so they wouldn't kill your bandwith. The original pictures are high quality PNGs, so the posters will be much clearer than this)

Thanks again for the suggestions! ^^
