May I pimp a couple links?
Apr. 29th, 2008 07:20 amI was out of town for the weekend. There was a family emergency (a relative was involved in a car accident), and I kelped by taking care of my 7-year-old niece. Spent the whole weekend watching cartoons and playing with her :P. My relatives are fine, too.
The good part is that I now have more name ideas for future Broke descendants, since I watched a Fairly Oddparents marathon. I also tried to get updated with the latest trends in children animation, but I guess the cable channels only air SpongeBod Squarepants and Ben 10. There's nothing else on TV these days :P.
Anyway...
I'm finally done with the flashback pictures (which were mostly posed), so I'm gonna load the main Broke house today. I figured it'd be better to get the "boring" part done first and then enjoy the regular gameplay for the rest of the pictures. Next update is gonna be HUGE story-wise, and I can't wait to get it done! :P
Meanwhile, let me pimp a couple links I've found lately. I'm gonna add them to my resources page later:
Gelled Rock Hair for Toddlers, Children and Teens. It's been a while since I've seen new Maxis hair conversions and this one is adorable! I can't wait to try it on a kid or toddler! It's the one from Kitche and Bath, but it's Base Game compatible.
Sims Crossing. I've been downloading a lot of new community lots for my new neighborhoods, and this site has GORGEOUS lots. I like Nengi 65's work and you can find a lot of goodies here. Best of all, they use little to no custom content (most of it are Maxis recolours). And they havea project going on with a new neighborhood with schools and even churchs (and I'm gonna use a couple of those places in my story).
We <3 Overlays. This is a new livejournal community with tutorials to pose your Sims. I haven't been able to read them all, but it looks awesome so far!
- See you later!
