To Install or Not to Install...
Apr. 14th, 2008 10:02 pmYeah, I've been posting too much lately. Blame the gigantic amounts of stress I'm dealing with lately due to a health-related problem :(.
Also, I have a free day tomorrow, so tonight I can go to bed later than usual. Yeah, I'm that kind of person who needs her 8 hours of sleep each night, otherwise I act like a zombie the whole day.
Anyway, for those who are Insim-aholics (like me), I've just read on the Insiminator forum that it WILL be updated! And it's coming out next week too! :) Yay! Now I'll be able to almost take my pics as I used to do before Free Time.
(Now if I could update a couple of Squinge "Enabling" hacks, it'd be perfect)
In other news, my younger sister started her first job a couple weeks ago. Today, she gave me a little present, because I'm finally opening my office in a couple months. She's a sweetheart :).
She actually got Bon Voyage for me! She's also a Sims fan (although she has a Mac and therefore is nearly impossible to find the sims games for her computer), and she often plays the Sims in my computer, with an account I opened for her (and thanks to that account, I got back Pleasantview. I was unable to find it in my CD's).
Now, the thing is that I'm afraid of Bon Voyage and the massive lag issues I've read about in other forums. But as I look at the neat box, I'm tempted to install it. The beach lots look awesome and I could get a lot of lovely shots for my legacy with them. Plus, my sister made an effort to get me the game and I'd hate to hurt her feelings.
Oh well... most of my updated hacks for Free Time should work with Bon Voyage, right? What's the worst that could happen? I've already made a back-up of my game files too.
So, I guess I'll give it a try tomorrow. In the meantime, those who have Bon VOyage, Have you been experiencing a lot of lag with this EP? Is it worth it?
