A couple of n00b questions.

Nah, just kidding.
1. I just went to the official site because I was looking for the Free Time patch. Yup, it's not there anymore, it seems it generated more issues than those it actually fixed. Pity... I was really looking forward for a solution to my alien problem, but I digress.
I noticed that there is a patch for the Family Fun Stuff Pack, which I recently bought and installed. I think this is the only SP that has a patch, so it's very odd, and it included a long, loooooong list of issues that were generated by FFS.
Now, I know that most EP's include the "fixes" or "patches" for previous EP's, right? But what about this particular stuff pack? I have all the EP's except for Bon Voyage. Do I need to download and install this patch, or was it actually fixed by a later EP like Seasons or Pets? If you've got any experience about this SP, I'd appreciate if you could share it with me. The last thing I want is to deal with yet another neighborhood implosion :P.
2. I downloaded and installed empty templates a few weeks ago. But, stupid, stupid me, didn't make a back-up for the original Pleasantview and installed a "very empty" template by Argon (MATY) that has no lots or characters over it. I just found out that there ARE "clean templates" (including the playable characters but not the townies, and that's precisely what I want!), so I'm changing my empty templates for those.
Anyway, is there some way I could download the original Pleasantview neighborhood? If that's not possible, is there some way I could get it from my original game discs or am I actually "fucked up" and have lost the original Brokes and their neighbors forever? :P
3. I'm actually a bit "blocked" with my sims games. I have the lots, but I'm not in the mood for playing, so I was thinking about "working" on a side project. I need the distraction because this has been a pretty complicated week work-wise. Would anyone be interested in a tutorial about creating "Clean and/or Empty neighborhoods"? I know there are a couple of excellent ones at MATY, but I was thinking of making one similar to the one I did to upgrade Pre-FT sims, with pictures and visual aids (as a teacher, I believe that makes learning and understanding of instructions a lot easier).
4. Oh, and it seems that there is going to be an 8th EP after all! It's called "Appartment Life" and the idea sounds pretty neat! But the thought of dealing with outdated mods and CC makes me cringe a little :P.
