Broke Legacy Picture Spam

So, while I wait for my Sims game to load, here's a small picture post as proof that I'm really working on my Legacy Story :D. There are small spoilers in here, nothing too revealing about the main plot. I'll probably won't be able to include all of them in the official updates, anyway.
As you already know, the main story has temporarily moved to Belladonna Cove, where the Gen 4 Heir and his children moved after the tragic loss of his wife. I do plan to move them back to Strangetown, because to me that's the Broke's main town, but that will happen by the time the only kid of Gen 6 is born (yup, all my Broke's will be born in Strangetown too).
Tom is still a teenager in my game, but I've decided he's gonna have only one kid (or two, if he's "blessed" with twins :D). I'm putting both him and his future spouse on eternal "pill" via ACR as soon as that kid is born. These last two Generations have been too large to handle, with so many characters to develop at the same time and right now I'll admit I won't focus on all the Gen 5 children in the story. They'll still be mentioned, of course, but the plot will fall only on Tom and Chip (plus Edward to an extent).
I hope that with only one "official" character for Gen 6 (plus his/her cousins), I'll get out of the current slump of the story and move on faster. I'm worried once I begin my master's studies I won't be able to continue the Legacy at all, so I want to get as far as possible in the next few months.
Lyla is finally an adult. She moved out and is now living at ST's main street (aka Road to Nowhere) in a small appartment building. She's studying cuisine at La Fiesta Tech, but she travels there and back to ST everyday through the very fast SimBullet Train network.

Her building is so small that most of its inhabitants are single sims like herself. One of them is AJ Loner-Loste, Kirsten's eldest son (and Tank's step-son). He's very interested in Lyla, as you can see.

But Lyla just sees him as a good friend. Besides, she's already interested in someone else.

And that someone is Chester Gieke.
Who will win Lyla's heart? Stay tuned! ;)

Meanwhile, Buck, Rose Mary and the rest of their children moved to an apartment at the other side of ST. You'll see more of them in the next update, but so far Chip, Ophelia and Monica transitioned to teen and child respectively.
You can see the "Simbullet Train" on the back of this picture. This family actually lives right next to Strangetown's Station too *hint* *hint* ;)

Let's move on to Bluewater Village, where Cody and his girlfriend Maggie moved after they finished their college studies.

Cody continued working on his big alien DNA project, and his move to this village is related to a finding he did while at college. He's still sure there are more aliens residing on the planet besides the Graslaxians, and he's pretty close to prove it. Maggie is also helping him with her vast knowledge, product of all the years she's spent next to the sea.

He eventually married Maggie.

You already met their kids, the twins Eliza and Luke Broke, in another entry.
(Let's see how long will this pic stay before PB decides it's OMG KID PORN! and delete it)

Both of them are excellent swimmers despite their very young age and in general share an odd connection to the sea.

Perhaps because they were born right next to it.

In general, Cody is happy with his new family. But there's something that keeps him awake at night. He knows his research is angering a group of powerful people, and his family is being targeted because of it...

Back at Belladonna Cove, as you may imagine, Tom is facing difficulty trusting people in general and making new friends. One of the few people he trusts is a police officer named Michael Bachelor, who found him the first time Tom sleep walked away from home.

I've grown pretty fond of Mike. For a character who was only intended to be an inside joke for a Halloween drabble, he's now gained a lot of importance and can't wait to show you what I've planned for him. I'm also working on a special update related to his past, and that, as you may imagine, is making me play with the Pleasantview characters again. It's being pretty fun too!

Another important person in Tom's life is Olivia Mace. Tom met her the day he became a teenager. Due to reasons that will be explained in the update, he runs away as soon as he grows up. Olivia finds him and wrongly assumes that his anguish is result of the "disastrous" transition outfit he's wearing.

So she becomes his tour guide as she shows Tom the beauties of Belladonna Cove's commercial zone. And convinces him of having a "crucial" transition makeover.

Although her ideas clash a bit with Tom's tastes at the beginning.

And he's not sure about her choice of hair stylist either :P.
But that's a story for a later entry ;)
I hope you enjoyed this nonsensical pic spam. And I hope I'll have the real thing finished pretty soon!
