The New Baby Objects

The EAxis store has just released two new objects for infants that should have been part of Apartment Life but evidently they kept them out so they could charge the fans again later. The Awesome place already have them and obviously, I wanted to try them out as soon as possible :).
Problem is that none of my Brokes have infant children at the moment, and Gen 6 is still a little bit away (but it's coming soon... or so I hope!). So, I had to give the honor of trying these new toys to a different family.

You already know them pretty well. These are Tosha Go and Ricky Cormier, standard Pleasantview teen townies. In my "Universe" they are former teen stars (from a series of movies named "Go Gerbitz! The Musical) and have been together ever since.

They got married when they were still young, immediately after a series of... intimate pictures of Ricky and former Go Gerbitz! Co-star Orlando Centowzki began to roll around the web. Many people believe that the Courmier's marriage is just a facade, but until now, they have managed to show the world that they are solid Studio City coupling.

They are now expecting their second kid. And Tosha can't wait until the baby's born, for she'll have the attention she's always craving from the media. Unlike her husband, her career was pretty much done as soon as she got married (she lost some of her charm when she got older and it became hard to land a role in new movies). She's now a socialité, though, always attending the most prestigious parties around Studio City.

Ricky agrees to present the baby to the media through a press conference. Maybe he could sell the pics for a few million simoleons...

But when Tosha suggests that all this attention could even let them land a contract with a music studio and record yet another "catchy pop" CD as the many they did as teenagers...

He refuses. He's a SERIOUS actor now! He can't go back to his silly teen days!

Anyway... you're not here to read about the Courmier's career issues (at least not now). So let's move forward to the birth.

LOL

Tosha finally gives birth to a baby girl, named Mona.

And that over there is the Courmier's elder daughter, Victoria. And she's definitely amused by her sister's arrival, right?
(Or maybe she's just in pain. I'd be like that if I suddenly merged with a door)

Yup, a couple seconds later, she's happy to meet Mona (and she's dressed for Easter, of course :) ).

Uh... where's Ricky, by the way?

Oh, there you are! Let's pretend he had a bathroom emergency just as his wife was giving birth instead of doing something stupid like tossing footballs.

Oh well, at least he's now walking back to the nursery to meet Mona.

Awwwww!

Tosha immediately shows us that she's not precisely the sharpest tool in the shed, as she places Mona on the floor (even if there's a crib right next to her!).

Oh... you're gonna read to Vicky something...

Oh well, Ricky shall have the honors of trying out the new toys.

And lets' begin with the cute spam.
Your teeth will rot!

I like the little hanging toys :).

How cute!
And just as I was staring at Mona do her cute act, Ricky decided to increased the cute factor with this autonomous action.

Wasn't that sweet? I love the baby gym already.
But let's move on to the other toy: The Baby Bouncer.

Here we go...

Not as cute as the gym, or perhaps Mona was already tired, because Tosha immediately took her back to her crib.
And that's all for now :).
