Back from Mini Hiatus.

I've just returned from a short trip :).
I went to Los Angeles, CA with my sister, who's a huge Spice Girl's fan. We went to the Staple Center to watch their concert and we had a great time. It was so worthy saving the money for months, so we could take this small holiday. She's been a fan for almost 10 years, so this was something she really was looking forward. I'm glad I was able to spend that time with her.
This was our first time in Los Angeles. At first, I was a bit scared of wandering alone in this city, specially after I read on the Internet that it's very dangerous place. Actually, it was very easy to move around the Downtown area and we spent most of the time in the principal avenues, so we didn't have any trouble there.
The downtown area is gorgeous and we walked around it for hours. Pity that the public transportation is not very good, so it was hard to go to farther places like Santa Monica (according to the magazzines at the hotel, it's a beautiful place too). Well, we only were there for two days, so we didn't have much time to explore. Perhaps next time.
We went to Hollywood, though, because it was a short ride away on the Metro Line.
We had a lot of fun, sure, but Downtown Los Angeles is much nicer. Took pictures at the Hollywood sign and the Walk of fame, of course. I didn't expect to see so many "characters" like Batman and Jack Sparrow strolling around the Chinesse Theatre, though. It was funny, although "Batman" gave a good scare. And nope, I didn't look for the Stars' homes, although I was tempted to buy one of those "Stars maps" just to have a good laugh.
I left for LA on Thursday night and I returned to my city this morning. Yup, my airplane left LAX last night at 11:40 P.M (local LA time) and arrived to my city at 5:30 AM (local Mexico City time). I haven't slept since saturday morning, so I'm exhausted, but I'm waiting until it's late enough to go to bed. I want to get back to my regular sleeping schedulle, otherwise tomorrow I'll be a zombie around the kids at work.
So, that's the reason I haven't responded to your comments on my last update. I've just finished reading them ^^. Thank tyou so much! I'll reply to you as soon as my mind is more coherent but meanwhile, I think it's funny how must of you think that Buck and Rose Mary are related. Nope, that's not the case. There is a connection between "Buck Strong" and the General, of course, but it's not blood-related.
And I need to find a "More Sims in a household" mod, because I'm doing double heirs for this generation, so I guess I'll have to look for it at MTS2 or MATY tomorrow. Meanwhile, I'll try to edit some of my Pudding pics to post a small update this week (according to the challenge rules). And as soon as I finish my reports, I'll read all your updates from these last three days. And there are so many of them! ^^.
Plus, I owe you 10 days of the Advent Calendar. Nope, I didn't forget about it ^^.
Well, I'm off to bed because I'm sure this entry has so many grammar mistakes that I'm afraid I'll get in trouble with the Grammar Police ;).
Good night!
