Maxis Taste Dare # 3

So here's my take on maxis_taste 's third challenge. This time, we had to give two makeovers to a well-known Pleasantview townie (September is Pleasantview's month at the community). One of those makeovers had to improve its looks, while the other one had to make them look worse.

We had the choice between Sandy Bruty and Goopy Gilscarbo, whose awful fashion sense is recognized around the Sims community ;). In my case, I decided to do the challenge with both of them.







Sandy Bruty and Goopy Gilscarbo met when they were both studying at Sim State's University.

Back then, Sandy spent most of her hard earned money (working at her dorm's cafeteria) on hair spray and hair dye, trying to emulate the sexy look that was "totally IN", according to the gossip magazines she read during her teen years.

Her friends often said she should have used that money to buy a new pair of jeans instead. Or at least a bar of soap for her odd boyfriend.

It's been ten years since their graduation.
Goopy and Sandy currently live together in Pleasantview.

Sandy had to completely shave her head just before the graduation party due to the heavy damage all those cheap chemical products did to her hair. Goopy has never been able to find the pictures that were taken that night, by the way.

After that "hairy experience", Sandy has gone all natural.

(She's truly a red-head according to Maxis)



And that's the end of this lame "story".




BTW, I now "ship" these two together :).

You're so right about Sandy being a redhead too. I'm surprised nobody else knew it. (Full disclosure: she was one of the first sims I ever played with, and I love her. She had a redheaded son with Daniel Pleasant in my first Pleasantview.)

I especially love Goopy's big hair. It distracts from his big lips. (I think his seem bigger than hers, for a guy.)

They're very cute together. They'll make lovely full-lipped children. (Which isn't a bad thing - I happen to like full lips.)

I always thought Goopy was cute (horrible fashion sense aside), but I never really played Sandy before. She turned out quite nice! I might have to pair them up too, haha.
