I'm so glad the house is working out for you. :) I think it's a greatly versatile house, but I didn't know anyone else who'd actually downloaded and played it in it yet (I knew it had been downloaded, but not by who). My only regret with it is that I didn't know the basement trick yet, so any windows in the basement don't let in light.
(If you raise up the ground one click and build your foundation off of that, then flatten the ground, any windows you put into a basement will actually let natural light in.)
I don't mind the skintone you've got on Lyla, it just threw me when I first saw it. I think it works for what you're doing. It gives enough creepiness without being over the top scary like some of the custom zombie skins out there. I think that's one of the reasons I've never done any default replacement skins - I've never been happy with the zombie or alien replacements I've seen.
And Yay for the next chapter being soon! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for it.
