Maxis Taste Dare #2

I've just joined the maxis_taste community, which focuses of course on the pre-made Maxis sims. There are also a few challenges for the members, and I wanted to try the second one, because it seemed quick and easy to do.

The challenge consisted in giving a makeover to up to three pre-made Maxis sims. Of course, I have a couple pics in my hard drive, but those are massive spoilers for what's coming up, so I decided instead in featuring in two well known Pleasantview townies.

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to re-create a good background for them, so for now you could consider these pictures are "pre-production" designs for the Studio City's summer blockbuster: Go Gerbitz! The Musical :D.

Go Gerbitz! The Musical, is the story of two young teens and their seemingly unachievable dreams.



Trent McLure (interpreted by teen heartthrob Ricky Cournier) is the captain of the SimCity High's Soccer team. But deep inside, he dreams of joining the school's musical play, despite sucking BIG time at singing and having the grace of an elephant at dancing.



Daniella Martínez (interpreted by Tosha Go, whose romance with Orlando Centowsky keeps Studio City's paparazzi insane) is the cheerful, clumsy and not very bright star of the school's musical, for she was born with an amazing voice. Deep inside, Daniella wants to join the cheerleader squad, but lacks the physical abilities to do so.



After a series of illogical events, the two teens meet and make a pact. Trent will use his influence among the cheerleaders to make them accept Daniella into the team; meanwhile, Daniella will give him some badly needed music lessons and try her best to convince the play's director, Coach Robinson (interpreted by Tim Broke, star of the ARRR! Movie) to let Trent join the cast.

Will they succeed? And will they find true love in the meantime?

Packed with the usual teen movie cliches (including an OMG! Prom makeover!) and unforgettable music (like the massive hit "Pa Pa Pi, Pa Pa Pi!)", this is a movie that will delight everyone in your family.

Hee! You gotta keep a closer eye on those tabloids, because there are rumors around Studio City about the romance between Ricky and another member of the cast, Blair Mace the Fourth. It seems Tosha doesn't have a chance with Ricky at the moment (though he's always open to share his charms with fellow cast members ;) ).

Ever since I read your Ishkabibble legacy, I can't see Ricky as anything but a player! He scored first kisses with all the generations, right? (or I'm very confused :S).

Great job! I've loved this idea ever since I saw your movie poster (which I also love). Tosha looks sweet with those low pigtails. I used that same hair on Erin Beaker recently.

Those cheerleading outfits are great.

I use that Raon hair a lot. It looks very cute on toddlers (and unlike most female meshes, it's not long. I don't like to give long hair to my toddlers, but I digress).
