I know it's just been a couple months, but I miss you so much!

Sure, there's Mom and Dad.
But lately, they've been acting weird.
Somehow, they are always kissing and hugging each other all day.
My friend Colleen says it's because it's spring and people want to do that kind of stuff during this season.
I just find it all gross...

Not as gross as Icaro, though.

He's obsessed with his piano.
Ever since Mrs. Jameson told him he had talent for music, he plays it all day long.
He says he wants to be a famous musician.
And earn tons of money with his records.

So that leaves me all alone, Big Brother.
And I've had to find new ways to entertain myself.

I'm still practicing with the mini-oven, though.
And I'm afraid I'll never be as good as you.
I guess I inherited Mom's incompetence for cooking.

Yup, she set the kitchen on fire again> the other day.

Fireman Dorian says hello, by the way.
Something tells me he doesn't like coming here to extinguish our fires on Sunday mornings, though.

This time, Mom was baking a cinnamon bun.
I'm afraid to ask her to prepare me lunch now.
For someone as amazing and talented as she is, she sure doesn't have no idea about cooking.
So, we usually wait for Dad to come home to feed us.
It's safer that way.

Icaro opened a lemonade business the other day.
He wanted a new toy fire truck, just like the one all his friends at school have.
Dad said that we didn't have enough money for that, though.
Private School and College aren't free, after all.

But Icaro isn't one to give up, so he prepared a lemonade jar.
He even calculated how much sugar; water and lemons were needed if he wanted to earn a profit.

Personally, I think he'd earn more money if he didn't spill half of the jar when serving the lemonade.

Business was pretty slow.
That's what happen when you live in the outskirts of a town in the middle of nowhere.
I felt bad, so I became his first client.

"Great choice, little sis! There's no better lemonade in this town than mine!
It's gonna be half of your allowance for a glass, please."

I have to admit, Icaro's lemonade was very good.
Too bad that the seller was so gross.
So, I proposed Icaro about becoming his partner.
Someone as sweet and pretty as me soon attracted new clients.

In the end, we were successful.
Icaro earned enough money to buy his truck...

And as for me...

With my part of the profits, I bought a bottle of bubbles.

They were awesome!
And they smelled so nice!

So nice... that I tasted them...

But that wasn't a very good idea...

I was so glad to get some news from you.
I also miss all of you so much...

But I can't complain.
College has been awesome so far.
Since the moment I left the cab, I knew this was going to be the best time of my life.

I'm living at the Cannon Common Dorm.
It's a medium sized dorm.
There are 8 other students living there, besides me.

My room is located in the "alien wing" of the dorm.
At least, that's what the rest of the students call it.
You can guess why it is called like that, right?

There are two other aliens living in my Dorm.
Their rooms are in front of mine.
One of them is Sirius Curious, son of Pascal Curious and the legendary Pollination Technician #1.

Sirius is almost two years older than me.
He's currently a senior.
The huge pregnant belly of Pascal Curious was one of the very first odd things Dad encountered when he moved to Strangetown.
He once told me that back then he thought that pregnant men was such a impossible and ridiculous idea.
Ironic, right?

Sirius was raised by Pascal and his two brothers, Vidcund and Lazlo.
Having P.T. Smith as their brother in law and their own studies about extraterrestrial life, the Curious brothers taught Sirius everything about being a good Graslaxian.
Sirius is extremely attractive according to Graslaxian beauty standards. His father, P.T. #1 was a famous model before he joined the Pollination Forces.
Sirius knows he's special and has no trouble letting the world know about his alien pride.
So much, that he wants to join the army to prove that aliens can do the same things as humans.
I think he's crazy. Everyone in town knows about the conflict between the Army and the Alien population.
That's why Dad left the army when I was a toddler...

My other roomy is Andromeda Curious.
He's the son of Vidcund Curious and P.T. #14
He's actually my cousin, because his alien mother is P.T. #56's sister.

Vidcund was abducted on the same night as Dad.
Of course, none of them remember what happened back then, but I saw the records during my years in space.
Andromeda was born two days before I did, though.

Andromeda is... special.
He's a sophomore.
He also embraces the alien pride as much as Sirius.
He says he wants to be a Pollination Technician, just like his mother.
But he doesn't want to abduct human males.
On the contrary, he wants to "pollinate human females".
By the way, you're not meeting him ever, Molly.

Of course, Andromeda and Sirius aren't the only roommates I have.
There's another one you know very well.
He appeared in my room just as I was declaring my Biology major.
"Still a nerd, Cosmo? Then I guess I made it on time to save your College years!"

I couldn't believe it when I saw him.
What was Henry doing at La Fiesta Tech?

"I'm still at Sim State, of course. But when Mom told me you were moving to La Fiesta Tech, I asked for a temporary exchange."

"And as I said, I made it on time. I'm pretty sure you were planning to spend your College years studying non-stop, right?"
"Well... I want to be a doctor so..."
"Nonsense! There's always time for everything. By the way, please tell me you aren't planning to wear that sweater around campus, right?"
"What's wrong with my sweater? I like the colour..."
"Oh Man...! Come with me, Cosmo. We are going out..."

So yeah... I've already spent a part of my scholarship money on new clothes.
I think it's a waste of money, but Henry says I'll thank him as soon as I find my first girlfriend.

Oh... well... I also spent part of that money re-decorating my room.
But hey! This is going to be my home for the next four years after all!

Anyway...
At the beginning I wasn't very close to the Curious Cousins.
I admit I was a bit jealous of their close friendship.
Despite living for years in a space ship, I'd never had an alien friend like me.
Until Sirius approached me one day and said,
"Hey Andromeda! Don't you think this kid would be a good member for our little club?"
"Club?"
"Yeah, Cosmo. We are the infamous Alien Duo! But lately I've been thinking we are ready to become a trio."

"So what do you say, Cosmo? Are you in?"
I didn't have to think it twice before accepting.

So yeah, we are now the Infamous Alien Trio!
We don't do much, really.
Just hang out and have fun.
Andromeda and Sirius often share with me all the knowledge their parents taught them.
And I tell them about my adventures in the Graslaxian ship.

By the way, don't worry Molly!
I'm pretty sure you'll be able to bake a good muffin with practice.
And trust me, I've begun appreciating Mom's cooking since I arrived here.
The food here is terrible!

But there's not much time for complaints.
I'm busy most of the day going to my different classes.

And I spent most nights awake in front of the computer.

I study so much, that I sometimes fall asleep while doing it.

But I've found a way to fight the stress from all that school work.
I bought a guitar the other day.

I love it.
Actually, first thing I do in the morning is play that guitar.

I also play chess with Andromeda.
He says that girls love intellectual guys, and that he already conquered three of them with his mad chess skills.

On hot nights, the guys and I have water balloon fights.

Henry's not as stressed as I am.
Perhaps because he's already a senior.

He's doing pretty well in his Mathematics Major.
And he's still an awesome gamer.

He brought "his favorite toy" from Sim State.
A bubble blower.
I don't see what's the point of it.
I know you love bubbles, Molly, but I think it's stupid to see grown College kids blowing them all the day.

Really, it's stupid.
They sit there all day laughing like hyenas.
How was I supposed to find a girlfriend if they were connected to that machine the whole time?

One night, I was so bored (and the guys were busy) that I took a cab and went out by myself.
"Uh... I don't go out too much. What do you recommend for someone like me?"

The cab dropped me at The Wasteland.
Once upon a time, it was an abandoned factory in the middle of the desert.
Until some weirdo decided it'd be a good place for drinking and dancing.

The place was empty when I arrived.
Man! I was better with the bubble-heads back at the dorm.
But I was already there, so I decided to have a drink.
Yeah... I had a soda, Molly! Really!

"So uh... is this place always so empty?"

"It's still early, kid. Most people come here by midnight. But if you are looking for company, there's a girl who arrived a few hours ago. She seemed pretty sad and has been crying upstairs for a while..."

I blame destiny, for I suddenly felt the urge to see this girl.

I couldn't believe it when I saw her!
It was Bella, my best friend from the Graslaxian ship!
I've told you about her, right?
She's a human girl who was abducted a long time ago.
She couldn't remember her life before the abduction nor how long it's been since then.
Graslaxians only abduct male humans, but long before they started their pollination experiments, they needed to study the human reproductive systems in order to re-create them on male recipients.
Bella is the model they chose to study a long time ago.

"Bella! What are you doing here? I... I thought I'd never see you again!"

Bella sighed- "I guess the Graslaxians are done with their human studies, Cosmo. They no longer needed me so they dropped me in the middle of the desert. This is the first place I found after walking for hours. I had no idea where I was... I... I'm so glad to see you, Cosmo!"
"Don't worry! I'll take you back to Strangetown!"
"It's been so long... You've changed, Cosmo. You're all grown up now..."
"Well... uh... you look exactly the same, Bella."
And it was true: Bella looked exactly the same as she did the last time I saw her.

I took Bella downstairs for a drink.
I was so happy for being reunited with my friend that I was in the mood to celebrate.
So we danced...

Until the music became quiet, and some couples (who had arrived around midnight as the bartender said) slow danced together.
Bella and I were among them.

When I was at the Spaceship, I had a little crush for Bella.
Of course, I thought back then that it would be impossible for us to be together.
I was just a kid, and she was stuck in that spaceship forever.
But things were different now...
So I kissed her...

She pushed me away...
"I'm sorry, Cosmo. This isn't right... The past..."

But I wouldn't take a "no" for answer.
"Don't you see it, Bella? Perhaps it's destiny what brought us together tonight! There's nothing to stop us now! We are free from the Graslaxians! Things have changed now! Dad once told me that in order to see the future, you have to let go the past! We are not in the ship anymore!"

Bella let me kiss her again.
Nothing "gross" as you may say, Molly.
She's still unsure about our relationship, but I swear I'll make it work.
She deserves a second chance after all that lost time she spent in the ship.
I took her back to La Fiesta Tech.
She's currently staying with one of my professors.

So yeah, that's what I've been doing here.

How have you been!
I know we just saw each other last month, but there's so much I wanted to talk to you.
But I'm aware it wasn't the right time for that.

Dad was a mess after we arrived home from Grandma's funeral.
I'd never seen him so sad.
He said he felt guilty for leaving Pleasantview.
He said he lost precious years with grandma due to his need to prove everyone he could be someone in another town.

The Repo Man's visit didn't help either.
I guess that Dad's sorrow made him forget to pay the bills.

Uncle David's a genius, though.
We received a package from him a couple days ago.
It was photo album.

Somehow, Uncle David found and restored a lot of old pictures from Grandma's youth.
Dad had never seen those pictures.
He was shocked to finally see Grandpa's face, for he never knew him.
He was born during Grandpa's funeral, after all.

Dad let me scan these pictures so you'd have your own copy.
Wasn't Grandma beautiful?
And yeah, the boy from the last two pictures is Dad!
Hard to believe he was a little kid once, right?
Uncle David's present helped Dad a lot.
He said that the pictures made him remember the reason he left Pleasantview.
He wanted to make Grandpa's wish come true.
He said that Grandma died peacefully, for she knew that all her children were happy and had reached their dreams in the end.

Molly and I are fine.
We've just started High School.
Man! It's so hard!

Uncle David's pictures made me realize the huge effort Dad made to give us the best education possible.
Therefore I'm now thinking about the future.
If we want to live as fine as we are living now, it's time to earn and save some money.
I'm already making some phone calls to La Fiesta Tech to earn as many scholarships as you did.
Sure, it's still early, but I don't care.
Time is money!

I'm happy to announce you that I'm finally able to bake a great muffin.
I'm a pretty good cook now!

The same one we see every single morning as we leave for school.

I was going to prove to Molly how dumb she was when suddenly, someone came over to kick our trashcan.
Bingo!

I ran out of the house and introduce myself to her.

So, while Molly tried to win Payton's heart, I did the same with Kendal.

Kendal is my girlfriend now!
There's nothing like keeping your eyes and ears open to win a girl's heart.

But we made some crazy shit that day!

I hope things between you and Kendal are going fine.
Payton... well... wait until I come home for Christmas.
I'm gonna have a long talk with him as soon as I see him.

Andromeda has a new girlfriend... yet again.
I'm just thankful he hasn't started with his "pollination" mission just yet.

My relationship with Bella is going strong.
She comes over frequently, and we talk for hours as we used to do years ago.
She's working at La Fiesta Tech Labs as a Field Researcher.

It's taken Bella a long time to get used to our relationship.
I think she's my girlfriend, but I'm not sure if she shares my opinion.
It's hard, Icaro.
If only Bella could let go her past.
A past she can't even remember!

But that doesn't matter.
I'm going to wait until she's ready.
I don't care if it takes years before we can do more... intimate stuff.

I love her, that's the only thing that matters for now...

Notes:
- Cosmo is the second generation heir, but that doesn't mean you won't see Molly or Icaro anymore.
- College is taking FOREVER for me. It's not that I get bored with it, it's just that it is so long and my computer literally crawls when I'm playing a dorm. One day takes more than an hour for me to play.
- I'm really considering using the College adjuster with Cosmo to make things go faster or I'll get bored with this family.
- Henry studied at La Fiesta Tech, of course. His "exchange semester" was his last semester at college. Here's a picture of adult Henry:

Honestly, I think CAS makes sims look worse than they are. I remember he was hideous as an adult when I first created him. Now that I look at him closely, he's not bad at all. I even like his nose ^^.
- I played the Curious family in fast speed with the help of the Insimminator. I loved that family, it was my first time playing it. As soon as I finish the Legacy, I'm gonna restart Strangetown and play the Curious at normal speed.
- Cosmo has an affair with that guitar. First, he rolled the want to buy one for days. Now, he plays it all the time. He also constantly rolls the want to play it too.
- Last update, during the dinner at the legacy house, the Cosmo you saw isn't the original Cosmo. It's an adult clone named "Space" I created for that scene. I was afraid of messing with YA!Cosmo (because of the way their college clock works) so I used the clone instead. Space only has 5 nice points, therefore he didn't look as smiley as Cosmo.
- You're gonna see more of "Space" next update, during the introduction dinner with Beau and Lilith.
- I freakin' love Icaro. That dating scene was all on free will.
- Andromeda is just what I wanted Cosmo to be when I first downloaded that hack. I expected Cosmo to have pointy ears and huge alien eyes, so I was very disappointed by how normal Cosmo looked when he was born (plus he was a boy, and I wanted a girl). I considered re-starting the game to get another baby, but now I'm glad I didn't cheat ^_^.
