Yeah, after the whole alien skin fiasco, I've decided to make a Custom Content Links List for three main reasons:
1. So I won't forget ever again where I got my stuff from!
2. For anyone who might wonder where I dowloaded something after seeing it on my pictures.
3. To give credit to the awesome FREE creators in this community. Thank you for your lovely job!
So, before going to the list, a disclaimer:
Yes, I'm anti-paysites. I paid for my game and my expansion packs, but I won't pay for custom content. I don't agree with people who charge for fanmade stuff in general. It's as stupid as if I suddenly locked my journal and asked people to "donate" so they can see my legacy updates or fanfics. And in the case of custom content, most of it is made with the help of tools from FREE creators! That's not fair!

Because my game is not very tolerant of Custom content, I've been looking for good sites with matching content to the one included in the game. For some odd reason, the people at Maxis released incomplete sets, so you have one kind of loveseat and another kind of chair, and none of it matches with each other. HACKS
Yeah, yeah, I know that you can't have hacks and cheats in a legacy game. But some of these options are either crucial to keep your game functioning or just make it more interesting. As always, read the instructions and make sure they are compatible with your EP's before installing them.
Monique: I can't live with her AutoDo Homework Mod. At 19:00, the kids and teens leave eveything behind to do the homework! Of course, there's a catch, and if the Sim has low needs, it'll refuse to do it of course! (See Andrew's failing and bitching as a kid).

More Awesome Than You (MATY): I guess everyone knows about this site. There are a lot of options here, to make the game harder, to fix annoying stuff or to save your game from exploding. I mostly use anything marked with "fix" and the Auto-socialize mod is very useful too. I'd love to give a try to macrostatics, but they must conflict with something I downloaded. Remember to RTFM (or "read the fucking manual", as the site says) before downloading anything from this site. Also, make sure to visit the forums, especiall the Peasantry section, where you'll find clean templates, merged neighborhood, lots of fixes and even a gender-switched Pleasantview!

Maxis Match Objects
Because my game is not very tolerant of Custom content, I've been looking for good sites with matching content to the one included in the game. For some odd reason, the people at Maxis released incomplete sets, so you have one kind of loveseat and another kind of chair, and none of it matches with each other. These sites are incredible options to finally get complete sets or to find new, cuter recolor of the Maxis stuff (which is low-poly of course).

Exnem: This is the best creator for food. From sushi, to tacos al pastor, including pasta, cakes, cupcakes, burgers, donuts... he's got everything and it looks tasty too! Pity it's also a paysite. You know something funny about his foods? When you look at the ingredients when your Sims prepare their foods, they are actually real mexican products! (like the milk when preparinfg the waffles or pies).

HACKS
Yeah, yeah, I know that you can't have hacks and cheats in a legacy game. But some of these options are either crucial to keep your game functioning or just make it more interesting. As always, read the instructions and make sure they are compatible with your EP's before installing them.
Monique: I can't live with her AutoDo Homework Mod. At 19:00, the kids and teens leave eveything behind to do the homework! Of course, there's a catch, and if the Sim has low needs, it'll refuse to do it of course! (See Andrew's failing and bitching as a kid).

More Awesome Than You (MATY): I guess everyone knows about this site. There are a lot of options here, to make the game harder, to fix annoying stuff or to save your game from exploding. I mostly use anything marked with "fix" and the Auto-socialize mod is very useful too. I'd love to give a try to macrostatics, but they must conflict with something I downloaded. Remember to RTFM (or "read the fucking manual", as the site says) before downloading anything from this site. Also, make sure to visit the forums, especiall the Peasantry section, where you'll find clean templates, merged neighborhood, lots of fixes and even a gender-switched Pleasantview!

He's got a lot of awesome mods like the Hula Hack (useful to pose my sims for some scenes), the "Pregnant Wear Anything" mod (for using custom maternity clothing and of course, the get abducted enabled hack!
